Moguls in the Making Program (MITM) unfolds over four days in September across 15 HBCUs. Ally offers students a taste of the Mogul life—a demanding 96-hour experience blending learning and creation. Guided by mentors, inspired by speakers, students pitch innovative ideas to a panel for scholarships and cash prizes. Our two-year coverage captures the real-time and enduring impact through a mini-series and documentary.

Project Inspiration

To celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Moguls, we produced a short documentary (2023) to show how the program profoundly changed the lives of four of the many successful students who have participated in the Moguls in the Making program over the years. This documentary ran across Revolt's digital channels, Ally's digital channels, and aired on Revolt's linear network on December 4th, 2023.

THE MOGULS SERIES

Additionally, in 2022 we produced a four part mini-series that followed participants in the program as they worked diligently to prepare their business pitches. Our goal was to show how the foundation building, lifelong impact that the program has on HBCU students can make a difference in their lives right now, not just down the road.
