Founded and Owned by Women of Color, The Lip Bar is a maximum impact, minimal effort, vegan beauty company that offers must-haves designed for women of all complexions. For over three years we had the pleasure of producing a variety of content to not only tell the story of their brand, but their customers, and women from the past who changed the world in profound ways.

We created this photo series to promote Lip Bar's new "Prom Queen" lipstick color option, showing off how versatile it is when worn against a wide-variety of skin tones.

In every piece of content we produced for Lip Bar, our goal was to show how the number one Black and woman-owned lip brand in the country makes a unique mix of products suitable to be worn for any occasion, at an accessible price point-- while having a bit of fun a long the way.

For this Black History Month campaign, The Lip Bar honored global icons Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, and Angela Davis, through this photo series, shining much-needed light on their respective legacies.
